Appleby announces the arrival of five new partners from offshore law firms:
Richard Addlestone joins the funds and investment services team based in the Cayman Islands office. Julian Black joins the banking and asset finance team in the Cayman Islands office. Matthew Stocker joined the Hong Kong office in April as a member of the banking and asset finance team.
Matthew Feargrieve joins the Zurich office in May in the funds and investment services team focusing on Cayman funds and private equity. James Gaudin joins the Jersey office in August.

If a solicitor acts for himself on a claim, my understanding is that he is generally only entitled to litigant in person costs.
