The new chairman of the Law Commission was announced today by the Lord Chancellor.
The new chairman of the Law Commission was announced today by the Lord Chancellor.
The Secretary of State for the Ministry of Justice and Lord Chancellor, Jack Straw, has appointed Sir James Munby to be Chairman of the Law Commission for three years from 1 August 2009.
Jack Straw said: “I am confident that Sir James Munby will be a valuable asset to the Law Commission and will further enhance the important work they carry out.”
