Andrea Coomber - Justice

Andrea Coomber has been appointed the new director of Justice

Andrea is currently legal director of the international human rights organisation, Interights. She will take up her post in February 2013.

Andrea replaces Roger Smith OBE, who has been director since 2001. She will be Justice’s fifth director in its 55-year history.

Baroness Helena Kennedy QC, chair of Justice’s council, says: “Andrea’s experience and dynamism will be a huge asset to Justice and its work on the rule of law, human rights and access to justice. I am confident she will be an exceptional director in the busy time ahead. I very much look forward to working with her.”
