Legal boutique launched in Liverpool
A former partner and solicitor at Kirwans have founded a new legal boutique, Astraea Legal. Based in Liverpool, the firm specialises in criminal and financial investigation and litigation, and will focus on providing legal services to high net worth individuals. It will also advise on monitoring and premises licence retention, as well as offering a legal consulting service for law firms.
Founding director Nama Zarroug (front right) was formerly Kirwans’ head of criminal law, and is a specialist in criminal defence and regulatory litigation. Co-director Matt Reynolds (centre) previously headed the Just Motor Law division of Kirwans, and is an expert in road traffic law.
Nama stated: ‘We’ve been working furiously over the last few months to launch Astraea Legal as a fully authorised and regulated licensed legal practice. There’s been a huge amount of red tape we’ve had to battle through, whilst continuing to consult nationally and internationally for some big name commercial practices on matters of criminal and regulatory litigation. Now we’re looking forward to concentrating on providing the one-to-one personal legal service so many law firms struggle to provide to their clients.’
