Bar Standards Board Three new members

3 is the magic number

The Bar Standards Board is appointing three new board members.
Richard Thompson OBE will take up his position immediately and will continue as chief constable with the civil nuclear constabulary. The two other board appointments are barrister members—Sam Stein QC and Patricia Robertson QC—who will start in January.

Sam is a criminal practitioner at Dyers Chambers, and was called to the Bar in 1988. Patricia practises at Fountain Court Chambers and was called to the Bar in 1988. She is also involved in equality and diversity issues, and is co-author of the Butterworth’s Guide to the Legal Services Act.
