Baroness Butler-Sloss Honorary degree

Baroness Butler-Sloss has received an honorary degree of doctor of laws from the University of Wolverhampton.

Lady Butler-Sloss, who was the first Lady Justice of Appeal, became president of the Family Division in October 1999, a position she held until April 2005. She was appointed to the House of Lords in 2006.The baroness said she was “honoured and delighted to receive the degree”.
