Triple hire strengthens firm’s litigation division
National firm Blake Morgan has bolstered its litigation dispute resolution division with the appointment of three legal directors—Simon Hough, Mark Jones and Michael Colledge.
Simon Hough (pictured, right), who joins the firm’s London office, is a commercial litigator with more than 12 years of experience handling disputes, including contentious insolvency, professional negligence and financial services litigation. He joins Blake Morgan after almost 11 years with Rosling King LLP, where he was formerly a partner.
Also joining the London office is Mark Jones (left), a white-collar crime and investigations specialist who will help to expand the firm’s regulatory practice in the financial sector. Mark joins the firm from his former position of director with Morgan Rose, and brings with him plentiful experience advising on criminal and regulatory investigations and prosecutions. His expertise also includes handling cases involving bribery and corruption, money laundering, tax fraud and phone hacking.
Finally, Michael Colledge (centre) joins the commercial litigation on the south coast after more than five years with Russell-Cooke Solicitors, and will be based in the Southampton office. He specialises in handling insurance disputes and professional negligence matters, as well as advising the Solicitors Regulation Authority on regulatory litigation. He also has experience acting in partnerships disputes and alternative dispute resolution.
Litigation divisional director Alison McClure commented: ‘'This is an exciting time for our litigation dispute resolution division and we are pleased to welcome three new legal directors to the team. They each have a strong reputation in their specialist fields and will strengthen our well-established LDR team and help drive forward future growth.’
