Blake Morgan—a trio of partners

Three partner promotions in Cardiff & Southampton

Blake Morgan has announced the promotions of three of its lawyers to partner. Simon Lewis (picture centre), Charlotte Whitehead (pictured left), and Tomos Lewis (pictured right) have taken up their new positions this month.

Tomos joined Blake Morgan in 2018 and is part of the commercial and charities team in Cardiff. He specialises in public procurement law, healthcare, commercial contracts, technology and data protection. His clients have included national governments, local authorities, NHS bodies, charities and private companies. Tomos is a fluent Welsh speaker and the firm’s Welsh Language Champion.

Also based in Cardiff, Charlotte supports the firm’s property services group, advising on commercial property transactions including acquisitions and disposals, leases, real estate financing and development work. With 16 years’ legal experience, Charlotte has worked on a number of major commercial property transactions, as well as acting for a wide range of individuals, charitable bodies and local, national, and international companies.

Simon advises clients on contentious and non-contentious matters with the construction team in the firm’s Southampton office. He undertook his training contract at the firm and since qualifying in 2017, he has developed expertise in NEC and JCT contracts, and bringing and defending claims in the technology and construction court.

Mike Wilson, managing partner at Blake Morgan, said: ‘The first-class service that we offer our clients is built on the hard work and expertise of our talented teams, and this latest round of promotions is an important step in our continued growth as a firm and the strengthening of its leadership.

‘Tomos, Simon and Charlotte are all trusted advisers in their respected fields and have been promoted to partner in recognition of their dedication and exceptional record of service. We look forward to seeing them and their teams go from strength to strength as they each build upon this success.’
