Blanchards Bailey—Julie Keogh

Dorset law firm appoints family law specialist

Dorset law firm Blanchards Bailey LLP has recently appointed family law executive Julie Keogh. Julie will work out of the firm's head office in Blandford.

Julie has previously held positions at law firms in Weymouth and Poole, and has practised exclusively as a family lawyer in Dorset since 2006. She has a wealth of experience in matters such as divorce, finance and property.

Of her appointment Julie said: 'I regularly deal with children cases including private and public law proceedings, special guardianship, adoption, child abduction, injunctions and civil partnership. I take great satisfaction in helping my clients through a particularly difficult time in their lives. I am sympathetic but on the other hand remain committed to achieving the best possible result for my clients in the most cost effective way.'

'I am committed to helping parties find solutions with regard to their finances and children as amicably as possible. I have a particular interest in matters involving domestic abuse and have always gone above and beyond my role as a lawyer.'

Laura Martin, associate and head of Blanchard Bailey's family law team added: 'We are delighted to welcome Julie to Blanchards Bailey. She has 15 years’ experience in the sector and her skills, empathy and intimate knowledge of the law dovetail perfectly with our existing team.'
