Property expert joins as partner

Carbon Law Partners has announced the addition of property partner Yvette Briggs to the practice.

Yvette brings expertise across a wide range of property matters, including property investment, conveyancing, residential and light commercial property, and advises a clientele spanning large housebuilders, landlords, small developers and property investors.

Michael Burne, founder and chief executive of Carbon Law Partners, said: ‘I’m very pleased to welcome Yvette to the Carbon family, especially at what is a time of significant growth and development for the firm. Yvette will further strengthen our property offering with her expertise and passion for providing a high level of service to both commercial and residential property clients.’

Yvette added: ‘I’m delighted to be joining Carbon; the flexibility is what drew me to the firm as this approach fits in well around my life—allowing me to work remotely whilst providing the best service to my clients. I was also attracted by the opportunity to work on mandates across practice areas, for example, with my new colleagues in Carbon’s commercial practice.

‘As a property investor myself, I can relate to my clients’ needs and speak their language—I love being a part of helping my clients achieve their goals. I’m looking forward to working with my new colleagues and expanding my client base at Carbon.’
