The annual increases in compensation payments have been released by the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills. The Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order 2016 (SI 2016/228) applies to dismissals and detriments occurring on or after 6 April 2016. A week’s pay is now £479, up from £475. The maximum compensatory award has risen to £78,962 from £78,335.
