Correction

In brief

With regard to last week’s news story— Low funds — (NLJ Vol 158 No 7325 p 835), the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) wishes to point out that it did not recommend to the Law Society Council that solicitors’ contributions to the SRA Compensation Fund should be doubled this year. It recommended that the contribution should be held at last year’s level, £300. In the event, the council opted for a contribution level of £150.
