COVID-19: Law Society issues advice

The Law Society has issued a list of answers to frequently asked questions or solicitors concerned about the impact of COVID-19 on employees and clients

It addresses topics such as what firms should do if the MRLO or COLP has the virus, whether they can refuse to take instructions for emergency wills and what support is available for cash flow problems and other financial distress. It offers specific advice to litigators facing court deadlines, legal aid lawyers, conveyancers and criminal defence solicitors.
