COVID-19: Pension priorities

Pensions lawyers should note new guidance issued by the Pensions Administration Standards Association (PASA) to support administrators during the COVID-19 pandemic

The six-page guidance sets out what administrators should prioritise, the first priority being that pensioners ‘receive an uninterrupted income’.

The guidance also covers best practice for remote working. Kim Gubler, PASA chair, said: ‘Pension administrators will need to transform their way of working to enable their people to deliver effective remote services to clients and members.’

The guidance can be found at: www.pasa-uk.com/covid-19.
