Global firm expands the team

International firm Crowell & Moring LLP has announced the arrival of a four-man team to bolster its global international trade and employment practice.

Joining the firm’s Los Angeles and Washington offices from Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, the team is composed of partners Nicole J Simonian and Evan Yee-Fan Chuck, senior counsel Robert Clifton Burns, and counsel Jackson Pai. The group has worked together for more than two decades, and has ample experience in advising on business operations in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. Nicole, who previously headed the Asia practice at Bryan Cave, will now co-chair Crowell & Moring's international trade group alongside John B Brew, as well as serving as the its international employment and global mobility lead. Evan, the former head of Bryan Cave's China practice, will now lead Crowell & Moring's Asia practice.

In addition to the team’s arrival, the firm has also announced the launch of an office in Shanghai. The firm will announce the details of the seven-strong team who will work from the new branch in the coming weeks.
