Double partner hire strengthens claim solutions team

International firm DAC Beachcroft has expanded its claims solutions operations with the addition of Kate Archer and Paul Cox as partners.

Kate (pictured), who joins the firm in the Manchester office, has returned to DAC Beachcroft after almost five years as a director in the Birmingham branch of DWF; between 1996 and 2012, she was a partner with DAC Beachcroft in Birmingham. Kate specialises in defending motor-related large loss and catastrophic injury claims.

Kate said: ‘I am very excited to be returning to DAC Beachcroft. The firm is enjoying really strong growth and I am looking forward to working with the existing highly regarded motor team in Manchester to further strengthen and develop the practice in the City and throughout the North West.’

Paul has joined as a partner in the catastrophic injury team, and is based in the Birmingham office. He formerly spent more than 17 years with Browne Jacobson, where he was technical claims director from May 2017. He advises on cases involving brain and spinal injuries, in addition to fatal accident claims and those relating to chronic pain syndrome.

Paul commented: ‘I am delighted to have joined the team at DAC Beachcroft. Having specialised in catastrophic and large loss work for a number of years, joining such a well-established team with a stellar reputation presents some very exciting opportunities for the future.’

Craig Dickson, CEO of DAC Beachcroft Claims Solutions, stated: ‘We're really pleased to welcome Paul and Kate to the partnership. They are highly regarded practitioners, acknowledged by clients and peers alike for their technical expertise as well as their ability to build strong client relationships. These two appointments support our strategic plan to build our Claims Solutions business, not just in Manchester and Birmingham but across our wider network.’
