Keeping clients on hold is a risky business

“Your call is important to us!” Law firms leave callers hanging on the telephone for an average of 42.22 seconds at a time, and are at serious risk of losing clients as a result, research shows. A survey of 3,630 companies by PH Media Group found law firms were below par when compared with other industries. Previous research has found 90% of callers will hold up within 40 seconds if they are left on hold, regardless of music choice or automated reassurances.
