Dronecode

The Civil Aviation Authority has published safety guidelines on the personal and commercial use of drones (unmanned aerial vehicles), called the “Dronecode”. The commercial drone industry is predicted to become a multi-billion dollar industry in the next decade. According to Phil Tansley, senior associate at RPC, the main legal issues for drones include liability for personal injury and damage to third party property; product liability; trespass; privacy; and regulatory and criminal investigations.
