English Electric Company Ltd v Alstom UK [2017] EWHC 1748 (QB), [2017] All ER (D) 88 (Jul)
The claimant was entitled to an indemnity from the defendant for compensation paid to an employee of a company acquired by the claimant. The Queen’s Bench Division held that the defendant had failed in establishing its defence that that company had not employed the employee.
