Clinical negligence team welcomes legal director

National law firm Enable Law LLP, which has offices located in Bristol, Exeter, London, Plymouth, Southampton, Taunton and Truro, has announced that Stewart Young will join its clinical negligence team as a legal director.

Stewart joins Enable Law from Stewarts where he specialises in clinical negligence claims involving catastrophic injury. He has a background in healthcare disputes having previously acted for several healthcare regulators, including the General Medical Council.

He brings a wealth of experience to Enable Law, with significant knowledge in bringing complex maximum severity claims to the High Court in London. Stewart has acted for individuals in a variety of cases, including spinal, brain injury, birth injury, blindness, psychiatric, fatal and delay in diagnosis of severe sepsis cases.

Stewart is an Accredited Senior Litigator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). He is also a member of the charity Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA).

Commenting on his appointment, Stewart said: 'I am excited to embark on this new challenge with Enable Law. The firm has gone from strength-to-strength in recent years and is well known for its specialist approach to complex matters. I am looking forward to meeting the team and getting stuck in.'
