Board welcomes non-executive director

Fletchers Solicitors has announced its latest addition to the board, Vikas Shah MBE, who has been appointed as a non-executive director.

Vikas is highly experienced in business management; he is the CEO of international trading business Swiscot Group, and also co-founded feature film studio 53 Degrees North. He is also an honorary professor at the University of Manchester, and received an MBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List this year for service to business and the economy.

Rob Fletcher, founder and chairman of Fletchers Solicitors, stated: ‘On behalf of the board, I am very pleased to welcome Vikas to the team. He has an incredible career history and has led many international businesses to success over the years. His extensive experience will add to the expertise of our existing board of directors as we continue to grow our business in line with our vision of becoming a profitable, sustainable, people centric law firm.’

Vikas added: ‘Fletchers Solicitors has an excellent reputation as the leading medical negligence and serious injury law firm in the country and has seen a fantastic level of growth over recent years. As the newest member of the board, I am looking forward to contributing to the ongoing success of Fletchers, particularly by consulting and advising on how to scale up and move the business to the next level. The firm has some ambitious goals for 2018 and beyond, and I can’t wait to get stuck in and help it exceed each one.’
