Fourteen hundred solicitors, barristers and in-house lawyers were present to see comedian Michael McIntyre host The Lawyer awards last month at the Grosvenor, London.

Fountain Court took the Chambers of the Year award and the Barrister of the Year award went to Michael Brindle QC. The latest awards achieves a hat-trick for the chambers, described as “probably the best set around in terms of strength and depth”, which also received a Chambers of the Year accolade at The Legal Business Awards earlier this year.
