Frances Patterson QC New law commissioner

Lord chancellor and secretary of state for justice Jack Straw has announced the appointment of Frances Patterson QC as a law commissioner

This is effective from 1 January 2010, for a period of five years. Frances Patterson succeeds Kenneth Parker QC, who has been appointed a High Court judge.
