Firm welcomes two in Thatcham & Maidenhead

South east and London firm Gardner Leader has welcomed Sheyi Lawale and Lewis Harvey to the team.

Sheyi Lawale has joined the firm as a senior associate in the conveyancing team. She is based in the Thatcham office and handles a wide variety of legal issues, from high-value property sales or purchases to assisting first-time buyers with Help to Buy loans, as well as the transfer of matrimonial homes. She acts on behalf of institutional lenders and regional and nationwide property investors with the acquisition, financing and management of property residential portfolios and purchasing houses of multiple occupation, alongside lease extensions, solving property boundary issues, and auction sales and purchases.

Lewis Harvey has joined the firm’s Maidenhead team as a corporate and commercial solicitor. He has experience in working on a variety of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring and commercial contracts and is a member of the Junior Lawyers Division for Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

Derek Rodgers, managing partner at Gardner Leader, said: ‘Both Sheyi and Lewis are fantastic additions to our passionate and dedicated team in what has been a challenging year for many. Lewis is a great asset to the corporate and commercial team and Sheyi’s extensive industry experience is unrivalled. We are very proud that they have chosen Gardner Leader for the next step in their career progression and we look forward to a positive business year ahead.’
