Partner appointment in firm’s equity capital markets team

Gateley Legal has announced the appointment of partner Sam Meiklejohn, who will join its equity capital markets (ECM) team.

Prior to joining Gateley, Sam spent six years at US law firm Cooley in its ECM and public companies team, based in London.

Sam brings experience in international equity capital markets, public companies and corporate governance. He advises corporates, investment banks, brokers and major shareholders on a broad spectrum of capital markets matters, including primary and secondary securities offerings listed on both UK and international stock exchanges. His experience covers a wide range of sectors, including life sciences, technology and biotech. He also has significant cross-border transactional experience, including transatlantic, pan-European and across the MENA region.

Sam will work alongside Paul Cliff, the national head of Gateley Legal’s ECM team, as well as colleagues across Gateley Legal’s banking and corporate practices.
