Energy expert joins the London office

Haynes and Boone LLP has welcomed energy specialist Anna Nerush to the London office as partner.

Anna joins the firm from Addleshaw Goddard LLP, where she was a partner and co-head of the firm’s Central Asia business group. She brings with her a wealth of experience in advising oil and gas clients on onshore and offshore matters, including M&A deals, country entry, and joint venture structuring, and also advises on issues relating to the renewables sector. She is a fluent Russian speaker, and serves on the Europe Regional Committee of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators.

Anna commented: ‘I am excited to be part of a true energy powerhouse that has such broad transactional and litigation capabilities across the entire oil and gas and renewables value chain and is so adept at anticipating and serving its clients’ needs.’

Partner and co-chair of Haynes and Boone’s energy practice, Jeff Nichols, also said: ‘Anna complements the firm’s historical strength in the transactional side of the energy sector and adds vital capabilities to our London office, namely the ability to do highly sophisticated M&A deals in energy markets worldwide. Her experience handling upstream, midstream and downstream projects in multiple jurisdictions, including the UK, Russia, Africa and Central Asia, greatly bolsters our ability to serve our clients worldwide.’
