Helen Streeton—HowardKennedyFsi

New partner appointment for commercial real estate team

HowardKennedyFsi has strengthened its commercial real estate team with the appointment of partner Helen Streeton.

Helen joined HowardKennedyFsi on 1 September and will act for the firm’s major developer clients. She brings to the firm considerable expertise and experience in the commercial property sector, having previously been a partner in Boodle Hatfield’s commercial property practice. She has a strong client following, acting for landlords and tenants, investors, borrowers and funders across a wide range of retail, office and leisure sectors. Helen recently took a break from legal practice, and has for the past two years, taught economics in several London sixth forms.

Helen says: “It has been a real privilege to teach young people and to help to raise their aspirations. It is now time to return to the property world. Following its merger 18 months ago HowardKennedyFsi has an immensely strong, large and diverse commercial and residential real estate practice. It has a reputation for acting for entrepreneurial businesses and individuals and I am very excited by the opportunities the firm presents.”

Paul Springall, partner and joint head of HowardKennedyFsi’s real estate team, adds: “Helen is an enormously experienced lawyer with a strong client following.  We are thrilled that she has chosen to return to the law and to HowardKennedyFsi. We all look forward to working alongside her and to the contribution she will bring to the team.”
