Double appointment strengthens Cambridge team

Hewitsons has expanded its Cambridge offering with a double appointment in its agriculture and private wealth teams.

Abbie Wiseman (right) joins the agriculture and rural property team, bringing experience in the acquisition of land for development and sales, purchases of farms and agricultural land, and property-backed financing for agricultural estates.

She said: ‘I’m delighted to be joining Hewitsons’ highly respected agriculture & rural property team, working alongside some of the best practitioners in this area of law. I look forward to bringing my experience to a new set of clients to help deliver the results and ‘Absolute Client Focus’ for which Hewitsons is known.’

Jennifer Koch (left) has also come on board at Hewitsons, where she will work as part of the private wealth team. Her areas of experience include wills and probate, inheritance tax and succession planning, and she is a member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners.

Jennifer commented: ‘Hewitsons’ private wealth team in Cambridge is highly regarded and, like many other of the firm’s specialist practice areas, rapidly expanding, so it’s great to be a part of it.’

Managing partner Colin Jones said: ‘We look forward to yet another year of expansion and investment at Hewitsons in 2019. As part of this, I am pleased to be welcoming Abbie and Jennifer into our fold. Both have strong track records and will be valuable assets for the firm as we continue to grow.’
