All complaints against HHJ Peter Thornton QC following media claims that he was an “apologist” for paedophiles have been dismissed. The Judicial Conduct Investigations Office has concluded that the claims were without foundation and has recommended that Judge Thornton be fully exonerated of all charges and resume sitting in all jurisdictions.
