Horwich Farrelly chairman wins Outstanding Contribution award

John O’Roarke, the chairman of Horwich Farrelly, has been presented with the Outstanding Contribution Award at the 2018 British Insurance Awards.

In a ceremony held at the Royal Albert Hall last month, the awards recognised leading companies and individuals within the insurance sector. John, who joined as Horwich Farrelly’s chairman in early 2016, was praised for his contribution to the industry and his focus on encouraging diversity and tackling fraud.

Commenting on his win, John said: ‘I am thrilled, and somewhat overwhelmed, to have won this prestigious industry award. I am lucky to have had an exciting and challenging career so far, working with some inspirational individuals, and having had the opportunity to improve the industry. It has been highly rewarding, and to be recognised in this way is a true honour.’
