Housing and Regeneration Act 2008 (Consequential Provisions) (No 2) Order 2010 (SI 2010/671)

Prepares the way for the coming into force of the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008, Pts 1, 2 and comes into force on the same day.

As s 111 of that Act is commenced. Makes consequential amendments to Pt 2 and other enactments, including that registered providers of social housing which are not local authorities are to be known as private registered providers of social housing. The term “registered social landlord” which currently describes bodies that are registered with the Tenant Services Authority will be replaced.
