New corporate partner for firm’s international team

Irwin Mitchell has expanded its international team by appointing Ute Mueller as a corporate partner specialising in Anglo-German mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Based at Irwin Mitchell’s London office and joining the existing London corporate team, Ute brings over 20 years of experience gained in-house and in private practice.

She has a strong reputation in acting for international businesses that are already present or entering the UK market for M&A work, venture capital, and joint ventures. Her clients range from entrepreneurs and start-ups to global brands.

Ute, a dual-qualified lawyer in Germany and England & Wales and a member of the Berlin Bar, has joined Irwin Mitchell from Duane Morris LLP. At Irwin Mitchell, Ute will further strengthen the firm’s German desk, which is led by employment law partner Sybille Steiner.

Fergal Dowling, managing partner of Irwin Mitchell’s business services group, said: ‘Ute’s Anglo-German market expertise perfectly positions Irwin Mitchell to support clients from Germany in exploring strategic options and investments in the UK, an area where the firm already has a strong reputation.’

Ute added: ‘Joining Irwin Mitchell at this time is truly exciting. The firm has an excellent reputation in the UK’s mid-corporate market and has made significant strides internationally. I really look forward to adding to the bench strength of the firm’s corporate and international teams and delivering exceptional service to our clients.’
