The Court of Appeal, Civil Division, considered the construction of covenants against assignment contained in leases granted to companies in the Hilton Hotel Group and their interaction with the provisions of the Landlord and Tenant (Covenants) Act 1995. The court varied, in part, an order made by the Chancery Division.
