Rule 22 of the Immigration Tribunal (Procedure) Rules 2005 (SI 2005/230) provides only for a written determination. Although it is within the powers of the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal to pronounce an oral decision, it is the written determination which constitutes the formal determination.
