Criminal Evidence

R v Finch [2007] All ER (D) 46 (Jan)

Section 76A of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984, which enables a confession made by a co-accused to be given in evidence for another person charged in the same proceedings, does not apply where that co-accused has pleaded guilty and therefore becomes a compellable witness.
