Law Society RFC Festival of Sport 2026 announces headline sponsor

SRM Recruitment has been announced as the headline sponsor of the Law Society RFC Festival of Sport 2026, which will take place on 20 September at Richmond Athletic Association. The specialist legal search firm joins the event as organisers prepare to welcome more than 110 teams across five sports, including rugby sevens, netball and five-a-side football

Chris Excell, head of legal recruitment at SRM Recruitment, said the company was committed to long-term success, adding: ‘Our business is built on people’ and ‘we’re here for the long run’. He encouraged legal professionals considering a move to ‘get in touch’.

The Festival of Sport remains a key fixture in the legal sector calendar, with 38 firms already signed up for this year’s event. Organisers expect strong participation across all tournaments, with only a limited number of places remaining in some competitions.

Tournament director Daniel How welcomed the sponsorship, saying: ‘We’re thrilled to have SRM join the Festival of Sport in 2026.’ He added that it was ‘especially nice to link up with some of our ex-players’ and noted that only a few spaces remain in the rugby sevens and netball tournaments.

For further information on the Tournament itself, to enter a team, or sponsorship opportunities, please contact Daniel at: lawsocietyrugby7s@yahoo.co.uk or on 07889 641 939.
