Almost a third of adults with a legal issue in the past four years did not have it adequately resolved, research by the Law Society and Legal Services Board (LSB) has found
The results of the Legal Needs Survey, published last week, showed two-thirds of adults have experienced at least one legal issue in the past four years. Therefore, more than 22% of the population has unmet legal need. Alan Kershaw, chair of the LSB, said: ‘Everyone should have access to professional legal support when they need it. But this survey shows people don’t always get it.’
