LNB NEWS: Deputy PM to be questioned by Justice and Home Affairs Committee

The Justice and Home Affairs Committee has announced that the Deputy Prime Minister, Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice, Dominic Raab MP, will by questioned by the Committee on 15 March 2023 on a broad range of topics. 

Lexis®Library update: This includes Raab’s priorities for his department on budget day, the impact of the government’s policy on the European Convention on Human Rights for UK-EU security cooperation, imprisonment for public protection, electronic tagging to address violence against women and girls, reforms of the parole system, prison overcrowding and conditions and the UK’s application to the Lugano Convention.
