LNB NEWS: MoJ announces appointment of new Chair of the Criminal Legal Aid Advisory Board

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has announced the appointment of Her Honour Deborah Taylor as the new Chair of the Criminal Legal Aid Advisory Board (CLAAB).

Lexis® update: The CLAAB, which first met in October 2022, was established to provide independent advice to the Lord Chancellor on current and future criminal legal aid schemes.

Its members include representatives from a number of professional bodies within the legal industry, alongside MoJ officials.
