The Lord Chief Justice, Lord Thomas, has sought to reassure lawyers in China that Brexit will have no effect on the strength of London as a centre for commercial dispute resolution. Such views, however, were ‘all quite wrong’ since Brexit would have no effect on the use of English contract law.
