Extra funding will be made available for organisations offering legal advice on equality and human rights issues, thanks to a new Strategic Funding Programme that the Equality and Human Rights Commission launched this week. The maximum funding available per organisation is £150,000 per year, and projects may be funded for up to three years. The commission is particularly keen to fund activity where there is currently no provision or access to advice.
