Firm grows talent with new promotions

North East law firm Muckle LLP has announced four promotions this April, marking an exciting period of growth and succession at the firm. The promotions highlight Muckle's commitment to investing in the best legal talent and prioritizing its people.

The new appointments are as follows:

  • Tom Justice – Partner, Commercial, Media and Digital/Tech, North East
  • Sara Worsick – Partner, Corporate, UK and International
  • Beth Thompson – Senior Associate, Real Estate, North East

Alex Speirs, hailed as a ‘Rising Star’ by Legal 500 UK, has extensive experience in commercial litigation, advising on shareholder disputes, contentious probate, professional negligence, and reputational issues.

Tom Justice, ranked as a Leading Associate, specializes in intellectual property and brand management, working with international businesses in the sports and cosmetics industries.

Sara Worsick, named Young Lawyer of the Year at the Insider Young Professionals Awards 2024, leads significant corporate finance transactions.

Beth Thompson, shortlisted for Young Lawyer of the Year at the North East Young Professional Awards 2022, provides excellent legal advice on property-related aspects of corporate sales, acquisitions, and investments.
