Clinical negligence specialist returns to Nelsons

Solicitor Victoria Sheldon has returned to Nelsons in Leicester, three years after beginning her legal career as a paralegal with the firm.

Victoria joined Nelsons’ clinical negligence team in 2015, before departing to complete a training contract with Smith Partnership Solicitors. Now fully qualified, she has returned to Nelsons to continue advising on clinical negligence claims.

Victoria said: ‘Returning to Nelsons was an easy decision for me to make—I loved my time as a paralegal and the firm has a well-established and experienced clinical negligence department so I saw joining the team as a great opportunity to offer my skills and experience, while being in an environment that is known for encouraging growth.

‘I’ve always wanted to work with a great team and for a law firm that has a strong presence, particularly in Leicester, which is important to me as I’m from the area. Nelsons has always had a strong vision for the firm, and the innovative, forward-thinking approach continues to be a key part of its ethos and culture. I’m thrilled to be a part of it.’

Clinical negligence partner Matthew Olner added: ‘We are delighted to welcome Victoria back to the clinical negligence team in Leicester. Her compassion and empathy are real assets to this area of law and I am looking forward to seeing her flourish in her new role.’
