New Judges

The lord chief justice has announced, in concurrence with the lord chancellor, the appointment of four presiding judges.

Mr Justice Wyn Williams has been appointed to the Wales Circuit, Mr Justice Sweeney has been appointed to the South Eastern Circuit, Mr Justice Holroyde has been appointed to the Northern Circuit, and Mrs Justice Thirlwall has been appointed to the Midlands Circuit.

These appointments are made from 1 January 2012, when the current presiding judges step down, to
31 December 2015.
