A new shorter and simpler Solicitors Code of Conduct which addresses solicitors as ‘you’ has been approved by the Law Society. It is now awaiting final sign-off by the Secretary of State for Constitutional Affairs, Lord Falconer, and the Master of the Rolls, Sir Anthony Clarke, if it passes muster, the code will come into effect in three months time.
