Judges are to be given a 4% pay boost, backdated to April
In a ministerial statement last week, Shabana Mahmood said she had carefully considered but decided to reject the Senior Salaries Review Body (SSRB) recommendation for a 4.75% for all judicial office holders.
Mahmood said she had to strike a ‘balance between addressing SSRB’s advice and managing the overall affordability to my department’.
