Sussex launches legal clinic

Sussex University is launching a legal clinic, following two years of planning by Sussex Law School. The clinic, to be known as Sussex Clinical Legal Education, will work on a variety of pro bono projects ranging from direct legal advice to the public on family and employment law issues, assistance in the county courts and local charity assistance to research for action groups on legal challenges. Law Society President Robert Bourns and Sussex law graduate and Brighton & Hove City Councillor Joe Miller are due to speak at the official launch in The Old Courthouse, 118 Church Street, Brighton at 6.30pm today (5 October).
