Taylor Wessing opens in-house health clinic

Law firm Taylor Wessing is opening an in-house GP clinic for its partners and employees in London, as part of a suite of wellbeing initiatives.

The clinic, which opens next week (8 May), will be run in partnership with The Harley Street General Practice, with two surgeries per week and two dedicated doctors.

UK managing partner Tim Eyles said: ‘We've had so much positive feedback from our people since our recent mental resilience training with a clinical psychologist, as well as the provision of mental health first aiders in February this year.

‘Taking a supportive approach to wellbeing in the workplace is of paramount importance to us and I think our people will really see the benefit in having more accessible support.’

In February, the firm launched an initiative to provide a team of mental health first aiders and has now trained 20 individuals officially accredited by Mental Health First Aid England. Additionally, a suite of mental resilience training is being provided by a clinical psychologist.
