Three Crowns—Reza Mohtashami QC

Boutique welcomes international arbitration expert as partner

International arbitration firm Three Crowns LLP has announced the appointment of Reza Mohtashami QC as a partner in the London office.

Formerly a litigation and arbitration partner with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Reza spent almost twenty years with the firm where he moved between the London, Paris, New York and Dubai offices. He is a deeply experienced arbitration specialist with expertise in multi-jurisdictional and high-value international disputes, particularly those within the energy, telecommunications and infrastructure sectors. He also has plentiful experience in investment treaty arbitrations, in which he has represented both governments and investors. He also regularly sits as an arbitrator, and took Silk in 2018. Having spent six years as a partner in Dubai, Reza also offers particular expertise in disputes in the Middle East and North Africa, and speaks fluent English, French and Farsi.

The executive partner of Three Crowns Gaëtan Verhoosel stated: ‘Reza’s astuteness and integrity as an advocate makes him a natural addition to Three Crowns, and his regional expertise will add immediate value to a very active part of our practice.’
