Exeter team appoints real estate partner

Trowers & Hamlins has welcomed partner Nicholas Burt to the real estate team in its Exeter office.

Nicholas joins the firm after more than 13 years with Foot Anstey, where he was a managing associate in the commercial real estate department. He is highly experienced in advising on private and commercial developer work, and acts for clients including regional housebuilders and land-owners.

Nicholas commented: ‘I am delighted to have joined Trowers. I am looking forward to continuing to expand our work out of Exeter in the private residential development market and to building our offering in this area. This is an exciting time for the housing market across the South West peninsular with several new and rapidly expanding entrants in the private residential market. Trowers is a fantastic firm and uniquely positioned to support those companies and I look forward to working with the team to grow and develop the practice.’

Head of the firm’s Exeter office, Joseph Acton, added: ‘Nicholas will be a valuable addition to the Trowers real estate team in Exeter and will add to the firm's existing portfolio of clients regionally and across the UK. He brings a great deal of experience in working for clients in and beyond the South West, and across the real estate developer market. We are delighted to welcome him to the team.’
